Jio Mobile Signal Booster In India

Reliance Infocomm Limited launched a new mobile signal network carrier in India called as Jio in September 2016. Headquartered in Navi Mumbai, it operates in spectrum 850 MHz and 1,800 MHz bands in India’s 22 circles, and also owns pan-India licensed 2,300 MHz spectrum. Initially after the launch, Jio offered free data service, calling, sim card and other services like Jio Savan, Jio Cinema, Jio Tv and lot more. This attracted the Indian market and the number of users began to increase drastically. In its recent quarterly report, Jio announced its customer base at a whooping 330 million. Despite tough competition from telecom giants like Airtel and Vodafone, the company is performing exceptionally well.

Jio made a very bold move by operating only 4G network. Jio does not operate on 2G or 3G networks. The 4G network is limited not only with the internet. Jio uses 4G, VoLTE (Voice over LTE) for its calls as well. Unlike its competitors, Airtel, Vodafone, MTNL etc, Jio focused only on 4G network for all its operations. It is undoubtedly a risky move by the company but the results are astounding. It has proven a great deal for the company as well as to its huge customers. 

Despite being one of the biggest cellular telecommunications conglomerates and operating entirely on 4G technology, Jio users still find it difficult in some parts of the country to catch a strong signal. Our customers complain about the call drops and poor voice quality. This problem is partly because of the enormous customer base throughout India with finite cell towers. Other reasons for poor cellular network is the landscape of our country and infrastructure. The problem is not limited to rural areas where the cell towers are low, it also persists in major cities because of infrastructure and high rise buildings. Concrete, metal and cement also play a huge role in blocking the signals. Rough terrain like mountains play a significant role. In fact weather can play a significant role in cellular network.
